Hickey & Co Solicitors is a tax disputes focused practice, with a team of barristers and solicitors, with extensive experience representing owner managed businesses, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, entertainers, partners and trustees in disputes with HMRC and claims against professional advisers.

Every matter is led by a dedicated member of the team. The firm is uniquely placed to advise clients on tax disputes, the firm’s principal, Julian Hickey has the unique combined experience of having advised on tax planning as a Partner at City law firms, and who has represented clients across investigations and as advocate in the specialist tax tribunals, High Court and Court of Appeal.

We are also in a position to assist in providing advice and support on contentious matters relating to ‘commercial divorce’ arising from disputes concerning businesses, shareholders and partners.

The firm’s principal is Julian Hickey who was called to the Bar in 1995 and has worked as a partner at several major City and West End law firms.
